Since opening its doors in 2011, RG Hair has crafted a name for itself as a place of style and class, with a history that reflects the dedication and journey of its founder, Rebecca Green. Our origins trace back to a charming space at the Market Place in Olney, where the seeds of our passion for hairstyling were first sown.
Throughout the years, RG Hair has embraced growth and change, with each relocation within Olney marking a significant milestone in our evolution. Our current residence at 5 Weston Road is more than just a location – it’s the expression of our dream, a place where RG Hair and Olney House of Beauty unite to create ‘Olney Hair & Beauty’. This partnership is a celebration of beauty and style, offering a comprehensive suite of hair and beauty services under one roof.
The salon is a sanctuary of peace and relaxation, but also a great place for a chat. We invite our clients to indulge in a lovely experience. Rebecca Green
Owner
With a lifelong passion for hair styling, I have been immersed in the world of hairdressing since my initial training at a prominent salon in Birmingham. My career resumed with a local salon in the area 27 years ago, continuing a journey filled with creativity and learning.
My dedication to hairdressing led me to pursue a teaching qualification, which opened a new chapter as an educator at Milton Keynes College for eight years. This period improved my skills not only in the industry but also in imparting my knowledge to ambitious stylists.
In pursuit of blending my love for teaching and hairdressing, I took on the role of an examiner for an awarding body while starting my own salon. This dual path allowed me to stay connected with the growing trends and techniques in hairdressing while contributing to the education sector.
Away from the salon, I cherish time with my family and love to indulge in moments of me time. You might find me tending to my garden, exploring the outdoors with my partners in crime, Millie and Rosie, or relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine!
As a stylist, an educator, and a lifelong learner, I believe in the power of transformation, not just in hair, but in the confidence it brings to every person who walks through the salon doors.
Potitsa Huntley
Originally from Australia of Greek heritage, I’ve been living in the UK for 23 years and now call it home, and I absolutely love it. I’m a food and coffee lover, enjoy the odd glass of red and white wine and a cocktail but not all at the same time! Outside the salon, I keep active with a mix of high-intensity fitness classes and enjoy the mental clarity they bring.
You’ll also often find me strolling through Olney with my loyal companion, Kimi, my 14-year-old miniature schnauzer. Despite her age and hearing loss, she’s always up for making new friends, so do come over and introduce yourself!

Nicola Hearn
I have a vast amount of experience in the hairdressing industry having built an extensive clientele, from managing salons to setting up my own successful freelance business, all whilst working around my family.
I am very passionate about my work and have an eye for detail. A perfectionist in precision cutting, I specialise in Balayage and Highlighting.
Outside of work, I enjoy interior design, following the latest fashion, and cooking.
